Amen Deck
I cut up the famous Amen Break sample into individual drum hits, and built a tool that lets you play around with them interactively, or build your own drum pattern. Have fun making you own groove, and participate in the grand tradition of breakbeat music!
Note that although it works OK in the browser here on Twitch, it works best if you download the amendeck.deck file and run it in Native Decker.

This is surprisingly mesmerizing to fiddle with; easy to see how a few seconds of drum break spawned the entire Jungle genre.

Oh this is cool! I am going to have to poke around and figure out how that metronome contraption works when I have the energy to do so, it seems a lot steadier than when I've done timing based on video frames!
